Commercial solar is scoped on data, not on a sales pitch. Before we quote, we work through your last 12 months of municipal consumption, do a roof survey, and look at your load profile — which circuits are critical, what runs at night, and how deep you want to go into battery storage. The system we design follows from that, not the other way round.

Being a Herholdt's Premium Partner means we specify and supply through their distribution network, which gives us access to proper Tier-1 panels and inverters and the warranty support that comes with them. That matters on a commercial installation — a failed inverter on a factory roof isn't a weekend DIY job, it's a supply-chain exercise. We also install the monitoring and reporting so you can see what the system is doing from your phone or your accountant's desk.

We're honest about payback periods. A solar array is an infrastructure investment, not a magic switch. Depending on your tariff and how much of your consumption happens in daylight, most of our commercial clients see payback in the 3 to 6 year range, and the battery component is about load shedding resilience more than economics. We'll show you the numbers either way — if the project doesn't make sense, we'll tell you before you spend.

Every installation is done to SANS 10142, issued with a COC, and handed over with training on how the system behaves in each of the load shedding stages. We also offer ongoing operations and maintenance — panel cleaning schedules, inverter firmware, and battery health checks — because a commercial system is only as good as its maintenance programme.
